MLK Weekend Outdoor Afro

Join Outdoor Afro Las Vegas as we hike, stay in a hostel, and learn about Black History. We will hike the Famous Hollywood Sign, visit Griffith Observatory, hike Runyon Canyon, Soul Food Sunday, and have a scavenger hunt for Black Stars on the Hollywood Walk of fame. This weekend falls on a holiday weekend. If you never stayed in a hostel this is a great opportunity to experience it with your Outdoor Afro family. Your reservation will be made in either a mixed dorm or all female dorm at USA Hostels Hollywood. It comes with a continental breakfast spread. The hostel has a rooftop patio to relax where we will host our meet and greet.

Participants that applied for this grant were asked to participate in the Runyon Canyon Hike.
